Let's Talk About Sex (Baby)....

Sex. We talk about it amongst our friends, we see it in the movies and on tv, we listen to it in our songs... but how often do we really think about what this three letter word means.
Sometimes it's taboo. Like how you might not have been prepared for me to talk about it on the blog today, or like talking about R Kelly and his fetishes at work.
Sometimes it's fun and flirty, like the new phenomenon of sexually- charged aeorobics classes, or it's passionate like the first kiss with someone you like that leads to more. You know... the one that makes you go "WHOOOO!" even though you realize you sound like a dork afterwards lol.
It can be illicit, forbidden, strangely addictive, and/or a powerful expression of how you feel to someone. It can also be messy and convuluted... used for the wrong reasons. It can inspire a woman to talk crazy in an attempt to get the message across to other women of how dangerous it can be mentally and physically if not prepared (I'm talking about famed Alexxys Tyler).
Sex has been given numerous nicknames and sometimes adjectives like casual, but if there's one thing I've learned is that its certainly not just a physiological thing. You can't just have sex with anyone (well if you're a prostitute you can... but we're not talking about them), there's gotta be something there. Something about that person that draws you in whether it be physically, maybe they have some kind of swag, maybe you're just curious, or maybe you even love them... but it's gotta be something.
And I think sometimes we take it too lightly, forgetting what comes with it. Yes, it's just sex, but it can be soooo much more if you're not ready (in a bad way), and sooo much more when you are (in a good way).
